Plover 15 Year Old Nationals Win 4th Straight Tournament

In their fourth tournament of the season, the Plover 15 Year Old Nationals took 1st Place in the Don Williams Classic in Hortonville.  They outscored their opponents 33 - 2 over the 3 game weekend.  In their first matchup  they faced a good Kimberly group and beat them 11-2.  In the second game of the weekend, they matched up against Appleton West and ended up with a 12-0 victory.  On Sunday, they faced a solid squad in Appleton North in the championship game and defeated them 1-0.  The 15 Nationals again had some exceptional pitching performances (combined no hitter in the 2nd game from Korb and Woyak and a  combined 2 hitter in the championship game from Lee and Wiczek), solid defense and hot hitting (pounding out 31 hits over the three games) to help them to their fourth straight 

1st place finish.
