In addition to summer leagues, Plover Fastpitch provides high-quality travel teams with a proven track record of success developing girls not only as softball players but as young adults. 

All league players are eligible to be selected for a travel team.  Tryouts take place at the end of the summer in preparation for the following season.

2024-2025 PLOVER FASTPITCH TRAVEL TEAM TRYOUTS INFO - MONDAY JULY 29TH & TUESDAY JULY 30TH, 2024:

• Held at Woyak Sports Complex in Plover (2381 Cedar Dr) - will be held on Fire Pro and Spud Fields

Monday 7/29 (2025 Age 7U to 10U):

• 7/8U registration 4:30-5
• 7/8 tryout on Fire Pro 5:00-6:00
• 9/10 registration 5:00-6:00
• 6:00-7:30 9U on Spud, 10U on Fire Pro

Tuesday July 30th (2025 Age 11U to 18U):

• Registration starting at 4-4:30
  • Only new players to the program or Americans players wishing to become a  national.
• 11/12 & 13/14 5:00-6:30 tryout on Fire Pro Field
• 15/16 & 17/18 6:30-8:00

****Wednesday, July 31st Rain Date****

• Same times/ages depending on canceled date.  More info TBD if both dates have cancellations.

Notes:

• Girls must play in our 2025 Plover FP/ PWYA League to play on a 2024-2025 Plover Fastpitch Travel Team
• 2025 Age Groups age based on the incoming players age on Jan 1, 2025 (i.e. if she is 9 on Jan 1, 2025, she would try out for Plover 9's)
• 2025 Travel Teams Age Brackets: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U teams;  Plover Fastpitch may have multiple teams within each age bracket in 2025, and we do teams for each age year (i.e. Plover 8's, 9's, 10's, 11's, 12's, 13's, 14's, 15's, 16's, & 18's);  kids play in their age year as of Jan 1st, 2025, as stated above
• REMINDERS FOR 2025 TRYOUTS:  
  • 7U to 10U Teams - ALL players who want to play on a 2025 Plover FP Travel Team are required go through tryouts on the below date & time
  • 11U to 18U travel teams, the players who played on 2024 travel teams, the Plover FP Travel Team program coordinators and coaches will evaluate those players based on their 2024 travel team tourney season - they would NOT come to the below tryouts date & time.  Any NEW players for 2025 to the Plover FP Travel Team program, or any 2024 players who want to be considered to go from an Americans teams to a Nationals team, are required to go through tryouts on the below date & time, and will be fully and fairly evaluated for a 2025 travel team

• All tryouts players -- PLEASE arrive at least a half hour early for registration and to get your bib # and warm-up
• 2025 Plover Fastpitch Travel Teams announcement - will be emailed by Plover Fastpitch or the coach;  2025 team roster will be from Sept 1, 2024 until Aug 31, 2025.   Teams will move up from their year age if they play in a fall tourney. ie.  if you played on the Plover 10's in the summer, you will be on the Plover 11's for any Fall 2024 tourneys.
• If you cannot make the above dates, you MUST reach out to PWYA to see if we can schedule an alternate time.  
• Please note, you will need to provide a $100.00 online deposit to PWYA if your daughter gets selected to one of the travel teams.  This deposit will be credited to you towards any 2025 Player Tournament Fees and/or Uniform costs. Full Uniform costs typically $100-$150, Tournament registration fees typically are $100 to $250 per player depending on tournaments. Indoor Facility Costs for 12 months are approx. $180.00. This is additional to the 100.00 Deposit. Your deposit will not be returned if after being placed on a roster and accepting a position, you later chose not to travel with a Plover FP Travel Team.
