Friday Night Lights will Support Local Student Athletes

As posted late last week, surrounding communities and residents were showing support for local student athletes who have had their season cut short due to COVID-19.  Channel 7 (WSAW) ended up picking up this story and one of PWYA's own, Haley Raflik from the Plover 17's, participated in an interview.  Also a big shout out to Steven Mancl for turning on the lights at the Woyak Sports Complex.

The interview can be found using the following link:

COVID-19 Update

To our PWYA Families:

This is an unprecedented and trying time for you and your athletes.  Please be aware that PWYA is working to comply with the CDC, Wisconsin and local government mandates.  Also note that PWYA is evaluating all options and will do our best to ensure our players have a season this year, however COVID-19 presents a very dynamic and fluid situation and there are many uncertainties with the upcoming season at this point in time.  With that said:

  • The previously scheduled coaches meeting and evaluations for boys and girls teams are CANCELLED.
  • Travel practices for Plover Baseball and Plover Fastpitch are CANCELLED until further notice

We will continue to post updates about plans for the season as more information becomes available.

Stay safe!
